How to set up the Lumix S5ii for Video... THE RIGHT WAY

In this S5ii setup guide I show you how to setup the Panasonic Lumix S5ii camera for video. Including: Auto focus, Image stabilisation, exposure features, image quality and resolution, picture profiles, V log, and much more!

Just picked this up, very impressed with the auto focus so far, also there was a slight motorized sound in the S5 don't hear anything at all with the Mark II. Hey Sam, I have a great idea for a firmware update, maybe you can pass it along to Lumix. Many people complain about the lack of tally light on the S5II, but in fact, there IS a tally light on the front of the camera! When you use the wifi/bluetooth feature it turns on. So all they need to do is to update the firmware so that we can choose if this light (next to the s5 logo) turns on while recording! What do you think? This could be really helpful for many people. Thanks!

That last part of the custom modes was so helpful. After using an A7sIII for the last few years, the custom mode being so rigid was always an annoying hurdle during shoots.

Thanks Sam, that operations lock is something so many other cameras would benefit from. I shoot a lot in the snow, and with gloves/numb fingers it's so easy to hit a button by mistake and mess everything up. The reload custom modes - turn the power off function is super useful too. It's so easy to get caught out with that, with white balance, Mic or Line level audio etc
