I was in Sweden once and flat out had someone come up to me and ask “your from America right?” Since I had my soccer uniform on they could tell and then “have you been in a school shooting” and I am not even joking in the week I was there at least 10 people asked me this

Actually the red cup thing fascinates me. I’m British and when my dad bought some for when we visit my Nan, I genuinely felt special to be holding the famous red cup in every teen movie ever 😂

Those red cups are actually advertised in Australia as “American Party Cups”.

The number of times I’ve been asked about red solo cups is astounding tbh. And they’re always shocked when I say yes ha ha

I love how the answer to “who’s alfredo” is “this roman restauranteur of the 1950s whose restaurant is still standing in Rome today"

A lot of people (even Americans) don’t know that red solo cups have measurements on the inside of them so whatever your drinking you know where to fill it up to. Wine, beer, liquor for example. 👍🏻

Your cat watching you dance on the sofa, seeming a little confused confused, is adorable

I didn’t know red solo cups was American thing. It’s not just for house parties, we use them at our church events for a lot of people too.

As a non-American I think the high water level makes perfect sense as nothing stains on the walls of the pot.

"Who is alfredo, and why do you like his sauce so much?" Had me busting up. LOL

Yes! I've been asked about Red Solo cups so many times. People think I'm kidding when I tell them we even have a Red Solo Cup party song. Despite having been to Italy a few times, I just recently found out about Fettuccine Alfredo not being an authentic Italian dish. Lastly, Why don't other countries have more water in their toilets? That's what I want to know!😉

Not only do we use red solo cups, but you can also get them in lots of other colors lmao

In Germany they sell "American cult classic" red solo cups. I brought a stack to a party once and was the king for an hour until someone else showed up with more alcohol haha

Red Solo cups - why does the world find this so unique that they ask us about them?! 🤣 I’ve been asked “have you had a party with red cups? do you have parties nowadays with red cups? where do you get the red party cups?” 😂 It’s hilarious, especially when I explain that you can buy them at so many places and we have different colors. 🇺🇸

I kept getting ask how many times I had been to Las Vegas. Or extremely specific questions about Las Vegas. It was so cool I could just drive there. I had to explain I lived like 25 hour drive from there.
