An Indian Italian couple and their everyday challenges. Based on a true story, in this episode Basil, the Italian wife gets offended when Mango, the Indian Husband uses an Indian hand gesture which also happens to be an Italian hand gesture with a different meaning 😉

Recently the Italian Hand Gesture 🤌🏻 is taking over the world like never before. You just can’t escape it. After some of the Italian Hand Gestures were officially included in the Emoji Hall of Fame, many non-Italians have given this symbol their own interpretations as they might not know the real meanings behind the emojis. This particular gesture or symbol (🤌🏻) however, which today has become a symbol of Italianness, literally means “What do you want?” Or even the annoyed version of “What do you want”. However a very similar gesture has been used in India since time has existed to mean mostly something in association with food, meaning “Are you hungry?” or “Do you want to eat?” or “Did you eat?”or any version of such food related questions.
