I just love the aesthetic: a brick town centre in the middle of the ocean where Pirates interact and plan has always been cool to me

It’s also great when you’re new because you can pull your ship on the beach and have easy access to all the traders

its also way more realistic than the others like you wanna tell me those people lived there for years but still didnt think of building real ports, defenses and houses that have actually some living space like why do they even live there if the living is that terrible

Port merrick is my worst nightmare logging in, there almost always seems to be a brig there waiting to sink my ship as soon as it spawns in

Port Merrick is great to start a journey but it's terrible to end it without the sovereigns it takes so long to unload a Full hall
