I remember getting this, the graphics and scope of the game was mind blowing.

Seeing the Xbox menus feels really weird. I started with this version until I eventually bought my own computer. This video makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

This is such an amazing game, I still play it on PC often. Open world RPGs were largely unheard of on console back in 2001 when it came out, it was def a groundbreaking game at the time; was in middle school when it came out, I just enjoyed watching my friends play it while I used the included fold out map to look for cool areas to go (the grazelands of course). The soundtrack just made that much more immersive. A gamers classic imo.

yea i didn't know about the elder scrolls games at all when i bought this for the original xbox and i was hooked from the start it was amazing the amount of stuff in the game and its size. I like it more than oblivion and skyrim,

Despite awful load times this was a very good port of the PC version. Hopefully the next Elder Scrolls game will be more like Morrowind. I miss all the throwing stars, crossbows, spears, levitation spells and talking merchant mudcrabs...haha

Truly was mind blowing. Back in the day, no early release gameplay, no youtube to watch reviews on it from... Just the fortunate people who stumbled across this and were addicted to it (myself included). Endless hours of enjoyment, as a 10-12yr old this game was something i never experienced before. But treasure the fact that i was lucky enough too. Like they say, ignorance is truly bliss... i guess thats why we reminisce on how things were... sometimes i wonder if the developers realize how much this game series means to some people.

I remember playing this when I barely understood English, so far I spent more hours in the loading screens of TES III Morrowind on Xbox than playing Skyrim Special Edition on Xbox One.

Oh God! I bought this game in 2004 for 5 bucks. I never heard of the Elder Scrolls before but was instantly hooked. I forgot how poor the draw distance was on the X Box. This made the pathfinding so freaking hard :D

I was blown away when I saw how smoothly this game ran on the xbox. Maybe it doesn’t have the best graphics but at least it runs really well
