yeah I know the title should say “legendary AND mythical” but I didn’t want it to be that long lol. Happy JPR Friday 🎉
also I know this one will catch as lot of people but I didn't realize how bad Thunder Cage is while making this vid, IT IS NOT A TIER LOL

doom desire F tier is kind of crazy, deserves at least D tier for forcing your opponent to pivot to something that resists it, letting you switch in your own counter to that

Steel Type Future sight in F tier is insane dude

140 base power, and you set it up so that you attack thier switch in, it's a very strong attack

Just want to point this out for Calyrex, only Glacial Lance got nerfed from 130 to 120 base power. Astral Barrage was never nerfed.

Thousand Waves actually had use on one of the scariest Zygarde complete sets in Ubers where he would trap in a weaker mon and then coil or D Dance for days and sweep from there. It still probably wouldn’t be that high because it’s still totally outclassed by Thousand Arrows, but it could be a tier maybe 2 up. Also you missed the part where Core Enforcer negates the opponents ability. It would be so good on Zygarde if only it were a physical attack

You massively underrated Double Iron Bash, that move is broken and deserved S tier

I don’t get Origin Pulse being so high when Kyogre will often prefer spamming Water Spout and it’s accuracy is so shaky, but it does hit ig

Imagine getting your sigature move nerfed because someone else did it better than you.

I don't think you realize how broken Thousand Arrows is

It's not only the best ground type move, it's the best offensive move in the game. Ground is offensively broken and is only balanced by the fact that levitate and flying exist. Literally any setup pokemon that would learn this could go for a mono attacker set with this attack and ruin the game

Marshadow’s Spectral thief is definitely S tier. Stealing boost is so good

Pretty sure you missed Latios' Luster Purge and Latias' Mist Ball.

V-create has always been my personal favorite signature move. It was why I was so amazed to see Mega Rayquaza get announced, because to this day there are only three pokemon that ever got V-create. Victini of course, Smeargle obviously, and there was one event Rayquaza that got V-create, and thanks to great trade I got with a Japanese player, I got a fully EV trained legitimate V-create event Rayquaza just in time for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, so needless to say, that was pretty great.

Thousand Waves is actually really good in singles, it actually has an entire set based around it. Also astral barrage wasn’t nerfed.

Urshifu moves don't hit through Protect.
It's Urshifu's ability that does it.

Relic song is muuuch bette than F tier. It has 20% chance to put the opponent to sleep which is huge

Shoutouts to some of the more funny signature moves that exist on a technicality:

-In Gen 2 only, Moltres is the only Pokémon that gets Sky Attack without having to learn it in Gen 1 or by being sent through the Time Capsule. A theoretical wild Moltres would have this move naturally too

-While not the same idea as Legendaries, the Ultra Beast Kartana has a secret signature move, but it’s far less exciting than Mind Blown… the move in question is Cut by level-up 💀

-The XD: Gale of Darkness Lugia is the only Pokémon in Gen 8 that could use Psycho Boost outside of Metronome calling the move because Deoxys got axed from the files

Core Enforcer over Thousand Waves is a terrible take.

Yes, it’s a good move. 100 BP no drawbacks is good, but it’s a Special Attack exclusive to a predominantly Physical Attacker. You also forgot to mention its effect to nullify the abilities of the Pokémon it hits, which is great; however, since Zygarde is slow in its Complete Forme and has an even lower Special Attacks in its faster forms, the effect is wasted on it.

Thousands Waves is a Physical Attack, which is exactly what Zygarde wants. Additionally, you severely underrate trapping abilities, especially in VGC. A Complete Forme Zygarde which traps two Pokémon which struggle to whittle down its HP are basically dead. That’s half a VGC team in any given battle. Ground type is also a better offensive type than Dragon and will hit more types for super-effective damage.

Thousand Arrows is arguably Zygarde’s best move, but Thousand Waves can shine in its own right.

Core Enforcer and Land’s Wrath are both lower tier by comparison.

The absolute difference in power between roar of time and spacial rend is downright criminal. You get way more damage in 2 turns with SR and the high crit rate just rubs salt in the wound

I think doom desire should be a steel version of hydrapple's attack with an explanation like the stronger the desire, the more damage
