I remember when the Transamerica Pyramid Building first opened and so many people (the media too) said how awful it was. And I recalled that I took one look at it and said,
that I had no doubt, it would become an iconic structure of San Francisco, which it did.

I'm happy that the new owner is passionate about preserving the building. I would love to visit this area more often. I spend time in Chinatown, North Beach, The Haight, Hayes Valley, Richmond, the Sunset, and would like a new neighborhood to add to the rotation.
