Here's 3 ways to help a baby that's 3 months or older with constipation. Number 1, you can try giving them 3 to 4 ounces of pear or apple juice each day until it resolves. Number 2, you can try 1 to 2 tablespoons of corn syrup. And number 3, if they're eating solid foods, give them high fiber foods like prunes, apricots, and beans, while at the same time, avoiding things like rice cereal, and bananas, which can actually cause constipation. If these suggestions don't help, or your baby has chronic constipation, be sure to talk with your pediatrician.

Exclusive breastfeeding till 6 months is compulsory. Plz. Don't preech other wise. Constipation in breastfeeding phase is normal with upto 1 bowel movement per week.

Corn syrup are totally not allowed for babies under 1 years of age. At least that’s what all the literature says because it can cause botulism
