For those of us who didn't claim the nukatron in season 4, the plans for the nukatron collectron is available at foundation from samuel for 1250 gold. I think, like the ammo converter from season 1 available at crater for 1250 gold, it's per character. If you unlock it from the scoreboard, it's for all your characters but buying plans work only for the character learning the plan. Once you learn the plan, the nukatron will be available in the menu for your collectron.

I was doing this last night and was also surprised at how good it was and also how fun it was seeing the damage numbers and XP.

Hi. It's a grind but you're right; it works. Something that Angry Turtle showed (if I understood it correctly) is that if you switch to an instigating main weapon before you throw the grenade, the grenade does more damage. And, yeah, Nuka Cola grenades are the way to go because the explosion passes through walls, unlike the other kinds.

For casual Westec runners your gonna look at about 3+ levels an hour before you hit halway on the board. The last half will be between 1-3. If you get buffs going and are managing your time that easily gets faster and faster. Used the Westec grind to finsh my last 60 levels at the end of Season 11. I went from level 109 to 371 by the time I was finished. Great method for low level characters as well. Thanks to that I also now have tons of cards and SPECIAL loadouts set up for each weapon class and my Legendary perks are almost maxed.

I might try this method. I like to enjoy this game solo and the scoreboard is always a struggle for me to complete.

I will jump on daily to clear out the daily challenges during the week. On the weekends I will marathon and really make sure my buffs are all active. I only use lunchboxes during Scoreboard runs and for sure on double xp weekends. After completing the scoreboard I restock my consumable ingredients (sugar bombs, sugar, boiled water, purified water, berry mentats, etc) so that when a new season is active I only need to round up the spoilable ingredients to make Brain bombs and cranberry relish.

Thanks for this. I'm one of those people who has been playing this game since it came out, and I didn't know running WestTek was the fastest way to gain XP.

Great tip. I even set up shop right across the road from Westek to farm the outside area. Seems like mutants spawn super fast there.

You can craft nuka grenades at a tinkers bench people, not entirely sure how I got the plan though but have unlocked it on xbox and pc naturally. Use with super duper to get tonnes more and have a nuka collectron to get nuka cola at your camp - you need this one specifically. Don't bother with nc quantum grenades they are somehow worse! You'll also need demolision expert/grenadier/fire proof all maxed out.
