As a black man who watched this completely blind, I was floored when I found out this movie had racism. When the big brother said "It's the N's" I couldn't help but laugh. It's such a poorly made movie though.

The book ending was way worse though. It describes everything about his parents in detail, and Marty’s only 10 in the book.

The last part of the book, referencing where he’s on the bed with the remains of his parents (Found. By Todd Rigney) -

“Monday is here. School will be starting soon. Will anyone notice I’m gone? Will anyone notice that dad’s not at work? Will anyone notice that mom’s not at work? When will they decide to search the house? When will I be freed? Until then, I’m here with the severed heads of my parents. They’re watching over me. That makes me feel comfortable. Special. I try to talk to them through the gag in my mouth but I can’t. All I do is drool on myself. I don’t hear anything else in the house, Steve must be gone for good. I wonder if the police will ever catch him. I wonder if he’ll stop killing black people. All I can do is wonder. All I can do is think about what’s going to happen.
I have no idea what’s going to happen.
I try to move my legs but it hurts.
I try to move my arms but it hurts.
I try to move my head but it hurts.
I look over at mom. She’s screaming at me with empty eyes.
I look over at dad. He’s yelling at me with empty eyes. Their arms and legs and skin and bones are all over the bed. All over me. My mind wants to scream and kick and freak out but I keep myself under control. If I lose it now I might not come back for a long, long time. Stuff like this can really warp a person. That’s what dad says. Dad. Mom. Steve. I start crying again.
Sunlight is coming through the window.
And I can’t stop crying.”

I’ve seen Headless… it’s…. Unique. But I had no idea it tied up anything. Now to find out it exists as a movie inside of this story
Is wild. Both films seem to just wander narratively and shoot for the most shocking gore.
