The entire final act is one of the creepiest I've ever seen in a horror film, and I've seen a LOT of horror films. It's the first movie in a long time to actually made me cover my eyes.

As an Irish person with a big Irish family, I really love how this movie accurately represented Irish family traditions! I'm so used to Irish culture and Irish family traditions n' stuff being inaccurately represented, so it's so refreshing to see an accurate representation of a normal Irish family for once

Ah, I too remember back when I was a youngling and my father shot himself with a cross bow followed by my mother doing the same, except they did it to appease the ginger gods so that the coming year the potato crops would continue to flourish. Good times, good times 😊🍀
Now, I need to go now, it's time for this year's annual sacrifice. My brother is next on the list, and the year after this one I can't wait to help my family by giving my life to the ginger gods as well! 😇🙏

Such a great film. One of my favourites. Very simple premise, but when you start to peel away the surface layer, and focus on the little details, you find a whole another story about abuse.

I actually remember watching the movie, thinking back at it at it I really thought it was a bit scary but definitely very unnerving throughout because I feel like they made such a good job with the atmosphere that in each scene I could tell exactly where we were as if I was in there or as if recalling memories of a place I was in.
