I have dentures, got them at 70 years old. As much as I hate the dentures, I don't want the maintenance of implants and trips to the dentist without dental insurance . With dentures, you can just soak the dentures and brush the gums. Down side, you lose some food taste, and the bottom plate tends to slide around. Then there's the expense of implants, like she said, the cost of a new car that's always in the garage getting repaired. If I were younger, I would try to go with implants. But for now, it's dentures for me and the occasional trips to the dentist to get my perm dentures realigned. A side note when home I eat soups and soft foods without having my dentures in. I am happy for the pretty young lady, braving her story and getting implants.

I had a very successful, full-arch FP-1 procedure performed in Texas 3 months ago. I'm currently in my temporary prostheses and will receive my permanent, zirconia implant bridges next month. I was originally scheduled to have All-on-4 performed in my home state but became dissatisfied with the proposed procedure when I was informed about the amount of healthy gum & bone that was going to be removed in order to make room for the All-on-4 abutments and prostheses. Personally, I couldn't be happier with my decision.

I went to Randi Roberts in Utah, he is 1st rate, and the guy to do the procedure. They do a detailed scan, create guides, the price ( I was quoted $17, 999 ) included everything including bone graphs, extractions, everything except for anesthesia. That was per arch

This solidified that I wanted 3 on 6 but professional opinion on how I need to approach my smile rebuild is paramount 😅

You’re obviously favouring All on 4 procedure and I’ve seen it in few of your videos! I’m currently going thru All on 6 procedures-yes lot more time consuming but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
I call All on 4 butchering or glorified dentures for a high price !

Can you discuss difference between Zirconia vs. Porcelain teeth on implants?
I was told with Porcelain that you have to wear a mouth guard while sleeping? No mouth guard required with Zirconia?

He does DOES all on four. What he is saying is that if a patient comes in and all on four is not their best option he offers them a more complex dental plan involving things like crowns, veneers, and bridges.

One place I went for consultation in FL, New Teeth Now, say you leave day of surgery with a full set of Zirconia (not temp plastic) implants, so you can eat solid foods within a couple of days, and they look more natural. Then in six/eight months when gums settle down you go back for permanent set of implants.
They say, with Zirconia implants, you do not have to wear a mouth guard while sleeping, like required with Porcelain.
They offered both All-On-Four or solid bridge implants with no fake gums (more expensive), like what you are calling 3-on-6…. except one solid piece implant. Choice seems to matter how thick your gums are and how much natural gum is between teeth?

Quote from a local dentist to do the 3 on 6 is 55k. I know it’s expensive but look at what it entails. The experience the dentist surgeon has and the complexity of the whole process cannot be cheap. It’s a surgery and those teeth and life changing. Not only for looks but so people can eat and enjoy the foods they want and be healthier. I’m saving for my procedure now and cannot wait. I’m so excited.

Ford Chevrolet Dodge Honda Toyota. They all have the same function do your research and get what is the best fit for you I personally after more than 2 years of research am going with the 3 on 6 with Dr Roberts office in Utah because it was the best fit for me.

I had my implant and zirconia crown done 8 moths ago and I can say I've gone to a mix of both proceedure. I have 4 implants and a full arch zirconia bridge with no fake gums. in my case it looks more natural and i dont like pinks on my teeth, i also have low lip smile so no gums are showing. I think it's really depend on your gum situation, your implant doctor should very much trained to know what will suit best for you. you should also research and have knowledge on how each proceeddure works so you won't have to regret the outcome. I am very happy with the result and transformation of my new set of teeth. And implant with zirconia is your best bet and a long term investment to summarize all we spent over years of repairs, restoration and frustration.

GREAT VIDEO! I have a somewhat broad question as I know you can't really give advice without seeing. I have had all my back teeth implanted individually over time over the course of 3 years. I do wonderful with implants. Slowly but surely due to grinding and cracking the root, I gradually start to get closer and closer to the front now having a canine pulled due to a crack and its just exhausting. I know I'll need root canals on the teeth close to the front as I can feel it. I'm considering removing the last top 6 (which look great) and the bottom 8. Can this be done without doing individual implants? Do I need to have the back 10-ish implants all removed or can I just leave those and add top and bottom implant bridge? Thank you, just looking for a bit of professional advice

I spoke with people that had all on 4 and others that had 3 on 6, I found happy people with both procedures for me personally I decided on the 3on 6 because I was able to keep my own bone and gums instead of it being cut down , also the weight of the zirconia on a all on 4 or 3 on 6 is so much heavier the all on 4 was less expensive then the 3 on 6 so there are pros and cons to both it is a very personal decision sometimes I had the feeling that some dentist were pushing the all on 4 more and I just assume because it is a less complicated surgery just my opinion

DR gurs DOES do all-on-4, but dome patients want that when criwns and bridges would be recommended.

I only need a bottom arch. Where no gum shows anyway. So is 3 on 6 better for me?

All on 4 is a quicker and least technical way for dentists to make money. It requires less skill with a faster turn over. Preserving bone is most essential and yet dentists are happy to take out your bone. Why dont they perform bone grafts and gum augmentation if they really cared about their patients.

I would think that all on 6 would be the best solution for strength and durability. I know it costs more, but when you chew a steak, it probably feels more natural.
