Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage) was only a teenaged stunt biker when he sold his soul to the devil (Peter Fonda). Years later, Johnny is a world renowned daredevil by day, but at night, he becomes the Ghost Rider of Marvel Comics legend. The devil's bounty hunter, he is charged with finding evil souls on earth and bringing them to hell. But when a twist of fate brings Johnny's long-lost love (Eva Mendes) back into his life, Johnny realizes he just might have a second chance at happiness - if he can beat the devil and win back his soul. To do so he'll have to defeat Blackheart (Wes Bentley), the devil's nemesis and wayward son, whose plot to take over his father's realm will bring hell on earth--unless Ghost Rider can stop him.

This is one of those movies that you know is bad, but you can't help but watch it...
I, for one, have many nostalgic memories from this film, and it does have its moments. Such a cool character.
Well, I just hope Marvel does something with him soon cause I've been craving for some ghost rider for a long time. 🔥💀

Aww this was one of the best movies I ever saw when I was a kid, back in the 2000s, I remember I was always scared of the dark, skulls and the ghost stuff, and that I used to get nightmares after watching them, but surprisingly when I used to watch the ghost rider I used to never get nightmares, my parents were always surprised because of this, I have watched this movie 13 times and I still love this movie.

Yes, in 2007 several films were released that we remember today; Rec, I am Legend, Paranormal Activity, etc. But I think the 3 star movies of that year were: Spider-Man 3, Ghost Rider, and of course, Transformers. 3 films classified as "mediocre" but that we currently continue to watch with affection and nostalgia, wanting to return to how everything was before.

I can't stress enough how many times I watched this movie years ago, how iconic this movie is, and how, to me, Nicholas Cage IS Ghost Rider!!! This movie is how I know both of them!!!
And he is Soo extremely cool and badass as Ghost Rider!!!

For a second I thought there was a new ghost rider movie and I was so hyped

I was purely purely obsessive of Ghost Rider back in my high-school. I used to hum "Ghost Riders in the Sky" track, imitate laugh of Ghost Rider, swaying my arms sometimes to imitate the chain throw from "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" and just using every damn wallpaper of "Ghost Rider" and "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" for god knows how many years.

The thrill of seeing the Johny Blaze turning himself and his bike into the evil spirit of Zarathos, aka Ghost Rider, was pure fun, and it still is for me.

I really don't know what happened with Ghost Rider 3: The Dark World. I heard back in those days about it. I don't know whether it was only a rumour but it'd have been a blast if third part with original cast would've been made and released for every fan.

To 15 years of Ghost Rider... Cheers!

i can't believe this movie is already 17 years old. I was a Junior in high school when this movie was released. Time flies!
