When a motorcycle-riding stuntman offers his soul to Mephistopheles in order to save the life of the one he loves most, he is forced to play host to a powerful supernatural entity whose flaming skull visage strikes fear into the heart of his enemies in this feature-film version of the long-running comic series. By day, Johnny Blaze (actor and comic-book devotee Nicolas Cage) is one of the world's best-known stuntmen, but when the sun goes down and he is in the presence of evil, the death-defying daredevil bursts into flames to become the indestructible, motorcycle-riding antihero known to the world as the Ghost Rider.

Fun fact: Carter Slade was the original Ghost Rider in the comics until 1972 when the series was rebooted and reprinted as the Phantom Rider, while Ghost Rider became a separate series. This is not only Carter Slade’s first live action appearance, but also officially canonizes the Phantom Rider in the Marvel Ghost Rider story.

Imagine the stories that would've run around in the wild west about a rider who has a flaming skull for a face, riding a horse that many say was given to him by satan himself
How he can kill a man just by looking at him, literally looking deep into his soul
How he can clear a camp of outlaws all by himself, leaving a trail of scorched bodies as proof of his presence
God i wish they wouldve showed us more about carter slade
Also if only the sequel have stayed in the tone of the first one...

Imagine a Carter Slade prequel. He's a civil war veteran that got elected sheriff in a small town. Town gets sacked by bandits. He was about to be hanged outside the church cemetery. But as the bandit leader kicks the chair off his feet, the spirit of vengeance awakens in him. Boom.

Imagine being a bank robber who luckily managed to escape from the police and the sheriff, at night you take your horse and ride towards freedom and a life of luxury, and out of nowhere you hear a horse screeching, turn around and see this damn thing chasing you at 250/kph
