Hack for fungal nails part 2:
In most cases of onychomycosis, the nail is super thick and crumbly. Since the fungus lives deeper within the nail, most antifungal creams have limited efficacy (which is why oral meds work better)
A trick I love is using 40% urea cream- it is a great keratolytic with lots of derm uses.
Applying it to pre soaked nails daily for a few weeks helps to significantly soften and thin out the nail especially when it’s combined with filling. That way, the treatments are going to work a lot better.
You can do this for thicken nails of various causes as well
