How the hell can you have that lag in the infotainment system in I really can't understand. A 100$ smartphone can be more responsive than that. It's unacceptable. I believe these systems have 10 year old chipsets in them.

The Subaru light is actually not just for decoration. It acts like a pool light, meaning it lights the ground beneath the driver and passenger door when illuminated.

Doug that light is courtesy light to find the door handle in dark areas like a garage or outside at night. Same thing for the ascent, and all the other models.

Try testing cars at night. All their interiors really pop.

In my opinion, Subaru has taken over the old Volvo Customers.

Doug: Those lights in the side view mirror actually light up most of the side of the car and the ground at night! Not just decoration. They also denote that the car has auto-dimming side mirrors. (One of my favorite features on my 2016 Forester XT.

All that and no mention of the quirky roof rails that convert into roof racks. That's one of the coolest features of the Outback.
