We hang out with a 2020 Subaru Outback in the Touring Trim. No Turbo here!. The sixth generation Outback debuted for the 2020 model year and continues to be a top contender in the compact crossover segment....but its a wagon!. The name of the game here is safety and confidence. Sure it's not much of a driver's car but it provides easy and confident handling with a responsive four cylinder CVT combination, and the ground clearance and all wheel drive system to handle any season or geographical location. If you own an Outback, you just know.

Just bought a 2020 Limited with 75, 000 miles. It feels quite solid and no creaks/rattles. Very comfortable cruiser, and LOVE the adaptive cruise control. It has TRANSFORMED my commute. I’ve been getting about 29 around town. I really like the two tone tan/black interior over the all black.

Mine has 100, 000 miles mechanically sound never had an issue outside of the blower motor, but it was cheap and easy to fix

I had a 2016 model Outback in the UK. Fantastic car, and they have improved on it with the new model which I may look at next year as a good low mileage used example.

I have a 2013 3.6 Outback Limited with 119K miles and the front passenger seat squeaks and creaks ONLY when someone is sitting there. The light tan leather seats have a nice shade of blue from jeans transference. Other than that... zero mechanical problems.
