If @MrBeast offered you a FREE trip to Paris, would you take it, Loyal Theorists? The only contingency is that you must bring him back one baguette. One lucky student took the offer, and Jimmy Beast filmed the whole thing! But, there was one issue. . . it was totally ILLEGAL! Let me break it down. . .

As an Aussie hearing Matpat pronounce Maccas (Mack-as) as Muccas got me by surprise

I remember first watching the MrBeast shorts thinking “You can’t video tape the Eiffel Tower at night due to copyright” so I thought it was about that, but now I’m curious about the customs laws for food

Edit Contains spoiler for later on in the video (Apologies for not having this sooner)
Edit: Finished the video and must say, I’m surprised customs allowed the baguettes

Breaking bread laws in France is no joke
Because then you'll really end up in Pain

I love the irony about Mattpat explaining the Eiffel Tower at night being illegal to photograph and share in a professional manner, while displaying those pictures of the Eiffel Tower at night in a Youtube video as a professional.

Jimmy is a real life very literal understanding of “you have to spend money to make money”

That's not the only MrBeast video that broke the law....

I love how you told us why at the beginning then sent us on a wild goose chase about baguettes only to reveal it was the one small little un-food-related thing you mentioned that almost everyone knows because you've done a past film theory on it.

As soon as I saw the night time Eiffel Tower, I knew exactly what the issue was. Still, it's such a wild concept that a photo of the lights of the tower, of all things, is illegal.

Are you sure he didn't just pay the company a fee? I have a hard time believing Mr. Beast's team would overlook this.

Matpat: It's Illigal to share pictures of the Eiffel Tower at night.
Also Matpat: I think I will use pictures of the Eiffel Tower at night.

9:08 Gotta love how Matt just said that showing footage of the lights at night is illegal and then it immediately uses copyright footage of them.

As an Australian, I was rolling around laughing when I read "This will be the most expensive Maccas meal this passenger has ever had." (and yes. We call it Maccas, pronounced Mack- Ez)

As an Australian I found it hilarious that he pronounced maccas that way . We pronounce it differently some of Australia's slang it so funny when Americans say it haha.

When I saw the Eiffel Tower in Jimmy's video my brain went "isn't that illegal?". Thank you Mattpat for validating my random knowledge of copyright laws in France despite being Australian

I literally thought "wait, isn't it illegal to video tape the eiffel tower at night?" When the clips was shown, glad to see I was right

MatPat is the only person that can turn “its illegal to photograph the eiffel tower at night because of copyright” into a 20 minute video

Australian here. The way Mat pronounced “maccas” 3:20 is absolutely priceless.

It’s just pronounced “mac-iz” not “mark-iz”
