I go to school without makeup, it's just my personal preference. but some girls were hardcore judging me and treating me like a lower being. so one day I went to a birthday party with makeup and everyone stared. a couple girls actually told me I was wearing a lot of makeup and made fun of me .so which one is it society??? when we don't wear makeup we're "ugly" and when we do we're "insecure" and "extra". I'm just so fed up.

The way I view makeup is the way I view piercings, most times people have it on is because they think it looks cool. Plus like with piercings, makeup doesn't affect anyone but the wearer so why are you getting your panties in a twist over it? I switch between wearing makeup and not wearing makeup and I can tell you when I do my makeup it is VERY rarely for another human being, it's mostly because I had some free time and I think it looks cool to have red lips and gold eyelids.

All these people saying the "natural" look is better. I wish it was true. Because the day a friend forgot her make up, everyone and their mother were asking her "what happened" "are you sick". It was disgusting.

I hate when people say "makeup makes you fake" and other things along those lines. I like to wear makeup because it's fun and I want to wear makeup. I don't find makeup a bad thing as long as girls are wearing because they want to wear it and not so they can hide their imperfections.

I used to wear makeup all the time, usually concealer and foundation, maybe mascara, and highlighter and lip gloss. But then, I started to realize that I was just covering my insecurities so I wouldn’t have to face them. This year, my skin is 10x better, and even if I put a little bit of makeup on, I wipe it off in the end when I realize I don’t need it to be beautiful. Someone’s probably gonna be sarcastic and shit with a reply, but whatever, just wanted to share my personal experiences with makeup.
