Remember Models and model glue as kids. They called the A10 ugly.😂. I had two models I put together, hanging from fishing line in my bedroom. I thought that was the toughest looking jet on the planet!🤘! I had the F16, the F15, and the Phantom 4 hanging around too. And a couple of battleships on my dresser. What ever happened to models.?. I enjoyed putting them together and painting them growing up?😞? And of course my plastic little soldiers everywhere. I was a military brat.🫡.

Love the A-10 Aircraft. Tough reliable, mission flexible and accurate in any assigned situation. Plenty of countermeasures options. Radarwarning receiver to alert pilot of incoming threat to deploy countermeasure against threat. ADM - 160 WALD Decoy can broadcast image away from A-10 aircraft. Top notch innovation upgrade . Mission library system can direct pilot for visual indicator for direction and radar stabized altimeter.

When discussing counter measures you mentioned the chaff and flare systems but failed to mention the ECM pod potentially mounted on station 1. Look closely and you will see the passive counter measures too. The horizontal and vertical stabilizers block Infrared sensing of the already slightly upturned engine outlet of the already cool high bypass engines. FYI. six SA-6 missiles were defeated by one of our amazing pilots and his A-10 in the war in Bosnia.

Wow, every other week the world is getting shocked by a new A-10 upgrade. The upgrade seems endless! 🤣😂😂I'm waiting for the nuclear cannon and nuclear power for the Thunderbolt 10 plus the invisibility cloak technology.
