When the A-10 flies overhead, you'll hear a whistle as it goes by. In Wisconsin, I lived in Wisconsindells, it is nothing to look up and watch one fly tree top high. If you didn't see the first or second one, you'll see the third as they fly in formation. It's pretty much a monthly thing for Wisconsinites living north of Madison. I was a member of our armed forces in Wisconsin and seen this numerous times a year.

I always use the warthog on this jet fighter game app I got. I don't know the "technicals" of military hardware but besides the game I love the A-10. It does however, in real life combat, look like an easier target than say the f-22 but it has character:)

Even now, the nay sayers in the United States military, are desperately trying to get the A-10 platform canceled from production. They want to divert its funding into more swanky and stealthy 🥷 aircraft and drones, so to “Super Size”, , the A-10 is of little interest to them. I don’t believe that they intend to keep it in production much longer. But rather modernize the ones that they already have, until there plans for the next project air toy 🧸 becomes available to them. I personally like the A-10, and many combat pilots swear by it, but if it was up to me, , I’d redesign the entire thing, cosmetically, with new skins, engines, avionics, and weapons guidance systems, and a different wing configuration, , but still incorporate most of the current parts of the old A-10 into my dream version, including the iconic 30 mm rotory cannon. 😊
