I took my watch into a repair shop today and he said he couldn't do it. I came home and watched your video and I've done it. Thank you so much for sharing. Thumbs up from me my friend.

It is really amazing that I made this video just to show one of my eBay clients how to remove the stem, then I forgot about it. One day I entered my channel and it had ove 10k views, men I was LOL. I am so glad it is helping so many people around the world. Thank you all of you for the awesome comments. Blessings

I was having a hard time finding a way to remove the stem for this particular movement until I saw this video. Thanks a lot! One step closer to building my own pocket watch.

Mr Juan, it’s your generosity which has touched me (and my 96 yr old mom’s watch!) Thank you!

This method also worked for the cheap Chinese Sunon sl39 quartz movement.

Many thanks for posting this excellent video - trying to get the watch stem out was driving me nuts!

Very easy to understand and straight forward video thanks but can I ask I got a cheap watch inside looks similar to this the movement in the middle and just some plastic to hold it in place, but the movement is not working anymore, can I just go and buy a miyota movement and just simply replace it?

Thanks for this. I have been remaking, repairing and rebuilding watches myself for years (I never learned from anyone or anything, just messing about with watches as a kid in my own) and I always just used pliers and yanked the out.

But occasionally one will break and it's so frustrating. I am just dealing with a difficult one right now and was thinking. Urgh there has to be an easier way to do this surely? I will look on YouTube. And I found your video and it came out far easier and didn't break.

Awesome.

Finally I found it. Most china cheap watch has this kind of push stem.  I bought a watch on aliexpress. Thank you.
