My bride had a miscarriage (her/our second) a few days prior and we hadn't told anyone that she was pregnant yet because of the first miscarriage. She and I went to see "Up" with some friends of ours and that beginning was extremely said, no doubt. She and I, particularly her, held it together very well until we got in the car. Cancer treatment she got while in high school apparently made her unable to carry. She got cancer, again, almost 30 years after her first two bouts and, after two years, I lost my bride. That was almost three years ago. The beginning and end to "Up" are pretty much unbearable to watch. I still love you, Donna Lou, and even if I knew then what I know now, I'd still do it all all over again with you.

You missed Coco. The Remember Me scene still gives me the feels to this day.

when I was 6 I saw "Snoopy Come Home" at a drive-in. In the movie Charlie Brown had to give Snoopy back to his original owner, who was a sick little girl. They threw a goodbye party for Snoopy. By the end the Peanuts gang are all bawling. it was a real bummer.

Optimus Prime's death in 86 absolutely killed me. We never saw that coming, especially not 30 minutes into the movie.

"When She Loved Me" is such a beautifully sad and poignant song. It tells the whole story from the toy's perspective. I'm 66 now, and when I hear that song I still think about some of my favourite toys from childhood and how I wish I still had one or two of them to reminisce with.

"UP" was my #1 choice as well, but it wasn't her death that upsets me, it was her struggle to climb the hill after her fall that brings back sad memories of my younger brother whose life was cut short due to cancer. At age 16, before being diagnosed, he was too weak to walk and struggled with crawling on the floor. He received treatment after his diagnosis and died just before his 20th birthday. I'm in tears as I'm posting this comment.😒

I'm so glad they included Stoick's death in "How to Train Your Dragon 2." I bawl every time

The "Fallen Rain" sequence from Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron never fails to make me cry, no matter how many times I've watched it. One of my favorite things about the movie is they let the music be the voices of the animals instead of going the Disney route and giving them voice actors. And that makes the scene where Rain is dying from a gunshot wound all the more heartbreaking to watch - even more so as Spirit is dragged away by soldiers and she's too weak to even keep her head up for long. THEN you have the whole "Sound The Bugle" sequence 😭😭😭😭

For me what brought me to tears was the scene from the movie Coco when he sang the song “Remember Me” to his grandma.

That Stitch moment is really beautiful and heartbreking, Toy Story 4 Gaby Gaby moment when he confronts Woody about how wonderful his life has been with a kid is just devastating, or the moment when Forky put his hand over hers as he realizes she longs for a kid.

The death of Littlefoot's mother was the first time I've learned about death and how tragic and heartbreaking it can be.

This whole list is why I love animated movies so much. Smart writing, great visuals, and (usually) addictingly brilliant music give you the full emotional experience of a live action film. Combine that with great voice acting and I am completely done in!
