Freeaim VR Shoes: Making VR fun again!
(and also doing useful things for business, like Training!)

We are planning to launch a Kickstarter later in 2023 however this depends on raising interest and spreading the word; we have no budget for marketing at the moment, so please LIKE and SUBSCRIBE!
Please note that what's shown is a Prototype and is being constantly tested, revised and improved.
Quick Q&A:
1) No, you cannot run flat-out, but you can walk quite fast and the speed is scalable in game.
2) It is not designed for children, most likely 12+. For adults up to 100kg should be fine or better than this if possible.
3) It will be more affordable than a consumer VR treadmill (e.g. KatWalk) but there are many factors that impact pricing.
4) Walking backwards and side-stepping are possible, but the software-side is still being worked on.
5) Our electronics and Bluetooth/WiFi communications support most VR Headsets that have a stand-alone mode e.g. Quest 2, however the software for this has yet to start.
6) All SteamVR Games that feature linear or smooth movement will work with Freeaim’s VR Shoes. Any game already working with competing products like Cybershoes or KatWalk will work with VR Shoes.

So excited for these! I was thinking, a good idea might be a switch to allow one to go back to roomscale mode, turning off the shoes and walking around normally. This would be great for needing to quickly do something else, as well as for people with full body tracking. Can't wait for the kickstarter!

This is so exciting!! If it's affordable enough, this would be a big step to bring natural walking in vr to the general public, besides just looking better than the current alternatives. Can't wait to try this!!!! (if i can afford it lol)

If you added a few pressure sensors to bottom of the foot, perhaps it could anticipate ever more dynamic movements on a step by step basis. Strife, fast jog, maybe even running - if made strong enough.
