The club and the coach were both transparent about this at the start of the year. It's gonna take time, time to draft some top talent instead of picking around pick 15-20 every year, time to develop the young players who are showing great potential, time to put in a game plan that works and the players understand. You don't go from being bottom of the ladder to premiers in a year and if you want sustained success like the rest of the clubs in the last 20 years who all end up winning 2 or 3 flags then it starts with building the team and game plan.

There's no relegation so they can rebuild and take time. No punishment for finishing last in the afl

The Hawks haven't won a final for 6 years and haven't yet started a re-build. They're in for a huge drought. I looked at there current list of youngsters and not one of them will be an A grader. They need to sack Clarko as quick as they can and start a rebuild. They have to be ruthless or they won't win a final for 20 yrs at least
