This is the first IPad Ive owned. My IPad Air 4 appears to move very fast. Its a good size and the Screen is clear and bright. I like the simplicity of IOS. I had dragged my Heels for years on whether to switch over to an IPad. Finally I took the plunge.

i brought an ipad air 4 for my freelance paperwork and to be a sketchbook for my work as a illustrator and so far, i love it. I love the ipadOS and i can even use it to edit some small designs or illustrations on the go.

Having used a number of tablets, I agree that the iPad experience is the best. I’d say that if you have the simple computing needs you outline, a chrome book would be an equally good option, for a lower cost.

To quickly find an app in iPadOS, swipe down in any open area of the screen and a search bar appears at the top of the screen. Type the first letter or two of the app you're looking for, and that app will appear at the top of the screen. Same thing works on the iPhone, even though it does have the app drawer.

Enjoyed your review. Deciding what is important to you as the user is the first step before buying any new device. I currently have the 3rd gen iPad Air and I love it. I am not a power user. I mostly process emails, write docs and make spreadsheets via MS 365. What I like about having a tablet over a laptop is the apps. That is another reason I choose the iPad Air. In my opinion, it is the sweet spot between the regular iPad and the Pro. If I had of known the 2020 was going to be so different, then I would have waited to purchase it. Nevertheless, I am very satisfied with my iPad Air 3rd gen. Take care and stay safe.
