Canada's First All-electric Ferry Enters Service

PortsToronto’s Marilyn Bell I, which transports passengers, vehicles and supplies to and from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, returned to service in December following a 20-week conversion, and is now operating 100% emissions free. The vessel is the first ferry in Canada to be powered by a zero-emissions, lithium-ion power and propulsion system containing no diesel fuel components.
