If you're thinking about buying the Mitsubishi Electric LN wall mounted unit for your house or office, stop and watch this video first. Right, the Mitsubishi Electric LN is the flagship Mitsubishi Electric wall mount that is on the market. If you're thinking about buying this unit, you need to realise that this is the flagship Mitsubishi Electric premium product. It comes in four colours, a flat white, a pearl white, a ruby red and a glossy black. Some of the features include air purification via a quad plasma filter, fantastic for cleaning the air. It has four louvers which allow you to direct air to the left or right of the room. It has a pollen filter and a standard type of filter which all AC units tend to have. Right, let's look at some of the worse points. Firstly, if you haven't got a big room, the LN is quite a big unit. Because it's a tall unit, fitting them can be a little bit tight. Right, let's look at the energy efficiency on this unit. The COP from the larger kilowatt unit is around 4.6 and the COP in the smaller unit is just over 5. That means that this unit does sit in the bracket of the most efficient wall mount on the market, all one of. It's a great product. Sound, the sound of this unit is similar to very similar types of premium products and it runs between 19 decibels and 32 decibels, dependent on the fan speed. There are five sizes of this unit, of four which are compatible with a multi-split range of unit. 1.8, a 2.5, a 3.5, a 5 and a 60. The 6 kilowatt is quite handy when you have a big open plan living space, you want something that's good looking and you don't want to have to go to commercial range. The only downside of that is you can't put the 60 on the M-Series multi-split. Well actually you can, but you shouldn't do it. Right, for all you engineers out there, I've got one niggle that I really don't like on this unit and that taking it apart is a nightmare. So if you're trying to do a fan scroll change or just a general cover off removal, it's going to take you a bit of extra time. So plan your maintenance, plan for additional labour and additional headache.
