I just wish this sensor could be used by other smart devices too. For instance, should the sensor detect a lot of heat coming from the window it will tell a smart system like KNX or Loxone shut the blinds. The same applies with light and every other smart device that might needs to know whether a room is occupied or not. Something like that would definitely increase savings both in power consumption and in reduced complexity for installation for other sensors that do the same job.

Didn't notice it last winter, but this winter the i-see sensor makes a mechanical buzzing noise at approximately half second intervals that's loud enough to be annoying.

So this is why the unit keeps blasting us with cold air when we have blankets on… 🤔

I figured out, you can shut off the sensor by holding down the sensor button on the remote with a pen or pencil. It is a small, recessed button on the lower part of the remote.

I have one of these units and have to agree, I have it set between 72-74 because I am cold unless I stand up then it is warm. For the price of this unit I should have warm feet also not have to use throws to keep the bottom of my body warm. Disappointing. There should be a better instruction manual on how to get warm air aimed to the floor.
