All about my Vintage CHANEL Classic Flap: Review, WHAT FITS and HOW TO GET ONE

I've wanted this bag for more than a decade, and finally (I cant believe it) I HAVE IT! I've decided to go the vintage route in order to get this bag, and thankfully I found the perfect one in Fashionphile. It didn't come easy--it took me three tries before I got the exact one I was looking for.

For this vlog I shared my Chanel story: how long I wanted it, where I bought the bag, the blunders I've made when purchasing it, and my honest review. This includes WHAT'S IN MY BAG, modeling shots, and full description of the bag.

This made me laugh because I could relate. I think it was in 2006 when I started pining for a Chanel flap and like you, I was blown away by the price and couldn’t justify it. It was about $1500 at the time, if memory serves me right. Wages haven’t really gone up so had I known a Chanel flap would set me back about $4k now, I would’ve just jumped the gun back then. I have a double sided flap bag similar to the “ double faced” bag you returned. They are actually rare and sought after. I have people offer to buy mine all the time, but it is not for sale. Congratulations on scoring a beautiful vintage Chanel! It is lovely! The vintage are actually better quality than the newer bags and the hardware doesn’t turn like the newer ones.

I can totally relate! I’ve been wanting the palm springs mini but never could bring myself to buy it... I Finally did after buying multiple cheaper bags over the years and now I regret it! 😩... I am turning 30 in October and wanted to have my first luxury designer handbag to spoil myself. I kept thinking of going for 2 lv bags (an alma pm in vernier leather and speedy b 25 mono) or a coloured chanel classic medium double flap.

After seeing the bags in store, I realized I was just "filling a gap" by buying 2 lv bags when I really want is a chanel! Unfortunately the colour I wanted is not sold in Australia... so I started looking at preloved sites. As fate would have it, I found a lilac chanel classic double flap medium in great condition 😊💜
