I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again this is the next trend and step towards “quite luxury”! You’re just framing it in a self awareness type of way! If this is what makes you happy then so be it! why selling everything when you can keep them for your kids ? Or grandkids?
Is an opposite extreme from over purchasing with a similar reason. Buying to feel happy and then selling to feel happy. None of this 2 extremes solves the problem. In both cases the person is relying on manipulation with material items in order to get rid of a deeper feeling. I went through both stages being in therapy. Holding into items that you already have and focusing on the feelings can be an option. I regret getting rid of some items being in this stage. It didn’t solve anything but I lost things that brought me memories.
