I started to learn Python 7 months ago. I'm 66 and have written a website HTML CSS with a Python backend. Migrating it all from Flask to Django now. What a journey :)

I started learning to code 2 years ago, Udemy and YouTube courses. I'm now a full-stack, full-time web developer.
The hustle is well worth the reward.

Old guy here! Don’t hesitate. Grab all the life you can. Don’t have regrets. Lots of mistakes is fine if you learn something.

l'm 48 and doing this because why not? I'd rather be 50 with new skills than 48 without them

When I see videos like this, I rush to the comment section to find some encouragement. I will be 40 this year and I am just getting started with python. Wish me luck!

Over 60 and coding. Good thing about this field is you can start late and code as long as you want. In these times of no retirement its a smart move.

I needed to hear this today, thank you 🙏 had been feeling so down lately as I’ll be turning 40 this spring and been on a year long journey learning new skills to pivot into a Data Analyst career path, it’s discouraging at times but gatta pick up pieces and keep pushing forward!

This is the mentally to adopt! I've been on a mission to learn as much about full stack programming as I can manage by my 40th birthday next summer. I'm amazing at how much I've already learned in 2 months! We all have a struggle. Pick one worth having this season of your life. Good luck to everyone young and older on your season of success!

I got my Engineering degree in Robotics & Mechatronics last year at 48, I thought it was time for a career change. The worst part is programming, I get AI to do it for me and then I modify the code.

Thank you for this video. I found "You start at 40, six months later, you're still 40 and you have a new career change" helpful! It is a sacrifice, but I'm sure it will be worth it. Thank you again for your content.

So glad to see older people on here learning cause as a part of the younger generation people who are in their young 20s are either the 1% few geniuses but the 99% seem to be really screwed by social media shortening their attention spans… the hope for the future lies within the older generations, gen alpha really going to have it tough.. as we are the last generation before the major iteration of LLMs I don’t see many having basic skills.

He's totally right. After 7 months Data Science and Computer Programming school I did 6 month Data Analytics certification. Now, I've successfully transitioned to being a never-employed Programming Analyst Scientist👍👍

I feel pressured at 27 with a b.s. degree in cs. My program screwed me, so I have to teach myself for the end of this year.
