AI in Medicine: Possible Applications and Potentials

There are many possible applications and potentials for artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine. Symptom checking apps can help people with health conditions in their daily lives. MRI scans, which consist of a lot of different image data, can be processed with the help of artificial neural networks, thus patterns contained therein and diseases can be recognised. To handle data in a responsible and reflective manner is important.

The AI Campus is the learning platform for artificial intelligence with many free online courses, videos and podcasts in different areas of AI.

The digital learning platform has been available to the public as a beta version since July 2020 and is in continuous development. As an R&D project, the AI Campus is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
