This can also be applied in jails and cut down on illicit activities.

I hope this doesn't become a reason for hospitals to say they don't need to staff enough nurses in the unit cause there is an AI watching too.

Do you have computers that can help patients to the toilet before they soil themselves waiting for help and get needed pain medication on time so people don't suffer prolonged pain These are current issues happening now in hospitals, Rehabs and Nursing Homes causing great distress among patients and indicates serious neglect.

Being ignored and left to die alone, now with compassion.

Well, we can only hope this is better. Than the thousands of fake nurses, who paid for unearned certificates.

And yet to use this technology it will drive up the cost of healthcare. As a society we should advocate if AI is used then service cost should be lowered if not it will be price gouging.

Why would I want a camera looking at me in my hospital bed that’s creepy

This is both exciting and useful. What is frightening is the replacement of human compassion for less staff, higher profits.

Practicing medical without a license and negligence are just two of the lawsuits they are setting themselves up for.

It might be usefull for dementia patients, critical care, pyschiatric cases who need constant monitoring, or children. It should be used selectively.

Fascinating application of AI in healthcare! Monitoring patient data in real-time to enhance care delivery is a significant step forward. I'm intrigued by how AI can optimize medical workflows and improve patient outcomes through predictive analytics. Looking forward to seeing more innovations in this field!

What I got from this video is we're slowly replacing human workers with machines that we don't have to pay.

This seems like a solid violation of patients privacy. Nice

This is a very interesting development for both patients and doctors. I think this brings up an interesting debate about privacy of the patient. Most of us would agree that every human is entitled to some form of privacy while in the medical setting, but this technology might encroach on that right but for the betterment of the patient. I think I would personally accept that tradeoff, if this AI can truly pick up on manifestations of medical conditions before physicians and nurses could notice them, I would want this in a hospital I was at. I think this does lean into the debate of sacrificing some of our person liberties for health. This is sacrificing your own person liberty of privacy to ensure your health is okay and people do something similar every day with feeding data into let’s say an apple watch to be analyzed, or a continues glucose monitoring device for people with diabetes. Where this debate gets a little cloudier is are people willing to sacrifice their own right to privacy for the good of their community. We saw this in COVID-19 when people were encouraged to get the vaccine even though if there were to contract COVID there symptoms might be mild but getting the vaccine protected those who were more vulnerable like the elderly and immunocompromised . 1 I think this second debate between sacrificing person liberties for the health of a community is a hard idea to get behind especially in the United States where our culture values person freedom so much. Setting that debate aside though I think this new technology has the chance to benefit patients and allow doctors to better care for patients. This might also improve justice in the healthcare system by mitigating physician bias both conscious and unconscious because this AI won’t have those biases.

I also have concerns about how this might affect specifically the American medical system. If this does take some burden off physicians and nurses would the hospital systems, then be inclined to hire less health care providers. I fear with the way our medical system is set up this might be something that happens, and I believe even with this technology this would be to the detriment of the patient if this were to infact happen. I think this is a tool for physicians and nurses to use and not a replacement for the daily interactions that patients have with the staff at a hospital.

This is what they are trying to do with Education too. It is quite disturbing. Kids won't want to sit in front of a computer to learn. Students barely want to be taught by a human. (I knew this before the pandemic). We will have many illiterate people in our futures. The teacher is what makes the learning possible.

Important: The public is campaigning for the health industry to have permanent safe health cures in place that is keeping the public healthy for life .

Okay this is cool. My dad is a nurse and apparently in surgery they do have robots assisting in the surgery. As in robotic arms and the surgeons control them. This helps make the incisions be more precise and can assist in the suturing. I wonder if this is happening in the hospitals he is working in.
