Canon T3i Settings For A Cinematic Look

preview_player
Показать описание
In this episode, I share the different settings I use on my Canon T3i to get a more professional, cinematic look. Here are the cliffs notes:

Frame Rate:
1080p @ 24fps (or 720p @ 60fps if shooting something that will be in slow motion, which I slow down to 40%)
Shutter Speed: Double your frame rate (as close as you can get anyways).
50 if shooting 24fps
125 if shooting 60fps
ISO: As low as possible, staying under 1000

Sharpness: 0
Contrast: -1
Saturation: +1
Color Tone: +1

White Balance: Usually auto unless auto looks weird, then I scroll through various options until I find one I like.

I have the utmost respect for youtubers who are informative and straight to the point of the video, and don't waste time begging for likes and all those annoying CTAs.

Quality content on the top of it - that's how it's done. Thank you!

I have literally watched about 20 videos covering this topic and still was a bit confused. Some how you explained it in under 5 mins and i understand it completely...lol Good job!

If only every tutorial could move this quickly and clearly explain the steps along the way without all the distractive, unrelated, irrelevant filler. great work.

All these other film youtubers never go in detail with this topic but you hit it right on the nail head!

This is the greatest most efficient and time saving video on filming with those cameras I ever saw

Man you are a life saver. I accidently put my iso at 3600 and all of my videos were super ugly and noisy. But you helped me figure out how to change it. I completely forgot about the iso button at the top! lol

I've been a film student for about 6 months at this point and I always had to use extensive color grading since my shots always came out blue. Thank you so much for making me realize that I've had it on Tugsten Light the entire time and didn't know

Dude this video is soo helpful! I got a T3i and was so lost on why my videos looked so grainy. I learned a lot just from this single video! 😊

Thanks! I realize this is an old video, but I just got an old T2i and once I changed the picture settings to the ones you suggested, it made an instant improvement to the quality with the same lens. Night and day difference!

Thanks again!
