Hey Beat Hackers,

This week I wanted to share something that I wish I knew sooner when I started DJing! The EQ is such an important thing to master when you're mixing, it can be the difference between two songs blending perfectly together or clashing, which the audience won't enjoy! It's such a great habit to get into when you're starting out early to always be in control of your EQ knobs, and in this video, I break down exactly how you can do this and how it works! Very useful information! Most helpful for sure, when making room to mix tracks together.
It's only semantics, but to remain technically accurate, "white noise" is actually all audible frequencies at once, from the lowest to the highest, with each frequency being of equal loudness. White noise in a spectrum analyzer is a flat line across the spectrum.
