I really loved how they altered the story to explain Plutarch’s absence. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Phillip was Plutarch; no one could replace him. RIP to one of the most talented actors in history.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman was one excellent, underrated actor.

It’s a case that reminds me of Robin Williams. Actors are actors because they are great at pretending, concealing emotions and channeling true ones through the emotional restraint. Hoffman’s performance was astonishing as always. We get Plutarch’s cynical yet pragmatic approach on things, something he always nails perfectly.


Woody Harrelson ready the letter was a great idea as it fits Haymitch’s character perfectly. He takes the spotlight in reading in his not too sober voice matched with an undertone of sarcasm, pauses after reading and opens up with his true emotions.

Amazing performances and choices regarding filming following Hoffman’s death.

May he Rest In Peace and be remembered dearly.

R.I.P.❤ to Thee Great Philip Hoffman Seymour. Definitely a great top notch actor of our generation. Just finished watching his last, or ne of his last movies titled, "God's Pocket" WoE! What a great movie, which also featured many other great actors, too many to list. Watched this movie for the 5th time this year, thats how great of a movie it is. P.H.S.passed away way too young, way too young. Sad all around.

The drug was most likely fentenol. people can get very innocently hooked on pain meds and end up with that by mistake. This guy being out on film I'm guessing had him buying from people he didn't know and ended up with fentinol
