# The New T-Mobile. As long as I have been with Sprint I have always paid taxes fees and surcharges every month.

At least you’re telling us like it is lol. I totally agree with you but with any company the price will go up eventually, If you want a reliable service.

Agreed higher prices are inevitable, if they want to compete the capex spending should be 20b per year for the next 5 years. Could you imagine that new TMobile network. I think they will try to keep the prices just under Verizon & AT&T’s but they will be damn close. Get ready folks the bargain days are coming to a end!!

I'm starting to see N51 coverage popping up in my home town and coverage overall is going up - it's at the point where the areas T-Mobile has issues are the same areas Verizon does. That and the fact that their N71 spectrum requires very few tower sites for incredible coverage, and the fact that their customer support is the best I've ever seen means I will likely be sticking with them for the long haul.

Prices won't increase because TMO promised NOT to raise them as a condition of the merger. Also, low band has a much greater coverage area so less infrastructure is required vs. the higher bands. TMO also is much more efficient in their management and spending which allows them to gain customers at the expense of VZ and ATT. TMO dollars go a lot further than the other guys' dollars do.

You guys want T-Mobile to improve and have better signal and try to offer some rural coverage unlike now where you go 300 miles to a dead zone or need a cell booster to try and connect to the network. It’s a business they fish u in with cheap prices for the long run they strip some of the sweet deal bargains for them to start making a profit. If you don’t like it go to prepaid and get half the access to a real network: #newtmoble

You were right about the subject once again and I wasn't quite sure until I looked up the nest upcoming bill which has been generated recently. Well it's not as ugly as the similar plan structure with at&t or Verizon but it is higher and higher than years and years monthly bill which I have done with Tmobile But as usual there is a breakdown for everything as well as all applicable promotions if you were qualified for anyone of those. Does it worth the bill? My personal take would be a big Yes!

I think you are correct, prices will go up. Maybe they'll wait till a few more cities get improved 5G service

Merger forbids price increases now. T- Mobile will get new income from added services such as home internet and T- Vision.

I don’t mind the price increase, as long as the quality continues to improve. But if my bill goes up, and the coverage hasn’t expanded. Off to AT&T and Verizon I go.

Actually postpaid T-Mobile customers do pay taxes and fees on their plans it's just included on their monthly bill statements. The taxes and fees are included in the plans they promote so that the customer won't be surprised with extra surcharges like the other competitors do. As far as price increases I do agree that as T-Mobile expand their network and spending prices will go up at some capacity. Will they become more expensive than Verizon who knows? If the network isn't reliable as Verizon and charging high prices then customers will go either prepaid or go to AT&T, Verizon and Cable companies.

#newtmobile so then the uncarrier movement is dead for all things and everything that John has done for the customer is dead in the water then and Mike being the company guy will gladly go along with this if Deutsche Telekom say to do.this he'll totally go along with tearing up these things. Your opinion is your opinion Sneed. That's what makes us American brah. Have yourself a great day Sneed.

I'm pretty sure this will effect prices for us on metro as well.

Verizon and ATT is the gold standard because it cost money to be the best. Tmobile and sprint customer base are usually very price sensitive but now there is less choice. So I do think the prepaid sector will benefit

#newTMobile - I thought Sievert & Co. agreed to no price increases for a period of time for merger approval?

I thought one of the concessions that T-Mobile made for the merger to get approved by the FCC and the Department of Justice was that they were not able to increase their prices for 5 years
