In the army your actually sometimes not allowed to warm up the mre because the enemy troops can see the steam and locate your base so eating it cold is the true experience

My husband who was enlisted at Ft Bragg used to bring home MRE"s every month.(they were within 90 days of expiration) Absolutely Loved them!! Being on a military budget, I welcomed them!❤

As a guy who experienced this first hand and the different kinds of MRE, I smiled knowing how bad some of the other MRE's are. The best part is watching everyone try and choose the MRE they want (specifically for candy, cake, or cookies) 😂

mre's are actually so good, espcially when in bootcamp and u dont have to eat from the chow hall

Lived in South Mississippi during Hurricane Katrina… we had a ton of these from the National Guard because food supply was so low… I loved them!

I was shocked when I saw a kid on YouTube reviewing the MREs and didn't say that it tasted bad. Good job, parents.

1970's one had this 'chocolate' covered 'caramel' disk. I was a kid, so I loved it.

Yes MREs are for military however they make good evacuate meals in case of emergency and for people who are homeless

I've had a few different American MREs before and they're not bad. French ones are amazing.
