I am German and as a heads up while I can not state his motives for starting this, it quickly came apparent that after realizing he could use this as a way to get money and fame he started intentionally creating conflict left and right. He even burned connections with big content creators he previously collabed with because they were appalled at his ego and blatant greed and disregard of safety for the people around him.

I am german, I have never heard anyone saying that they like Niclas Matthei, btw he is not a teenager. Also footage was leaked by a stranger filming a conversation with him in which Niclas confirms that this is just a persona and that he is making a good amount of money by provocating strangers to a point where sometimes they attack him, so he can sue the person. He doesn't contribute the society at all, he is a scammer

I'm tired of people using "he was bullied" as an excuse for people doing shitty things. Lots of people get bullied. Most of them don't turn into A-holes. This guy was doing this for internet fame and money - nothing to do with true civic duty. If he truly cared about civic duty, he would be campaigning for building more parking for his town and better town planning.

Hello, I come from Germany and already noticed him on social media platforms with my friends. He gets a lot of attention through media, which is why he also became a meme in our country. Someone even created a video game about him, where the goal is to give people tickets for false parking or so. We personally don’t think that what he does is necessary. Of course it is important to follow rules, and I don’t want to seem like a bully, personally it is just that you should let people do their own business and not interfere, as long as it is not hurting or annoying others constantly. In a media interview, he claimed that his goal is to give at least one person in every “Bundesland” a ticket. This is, in my opinion, extremely unnecessary. It annoys and, of course “helps” the local police stations, but also causes unnecessary trouble. Because his actions annoyed so many people, a group of football fans even attacked him in a public train, leading to him having a broken nose and multiple other injuries after the attack. Of course that is not okay and nobody, no matter how “annoying”, should be beaten up. I don’t know how old this video is and if my comment right now will ever be noticed by you, but to give a current backup: he is not popular anymore. The media stopped posting stuff about him and we mostly don’t hear anything about him anymore. He is like a ghost now, an old ghost.

my german aunt had a run in with him, her car broke down and she pushed it to the side of the road to wait for a tow, and he started doing the whole illegal parking thing, tow truck turns up and hes still ranting about it, so she just said "dont try to be a tyrant with the law, last man who did that in germany was a painter, and everyone in the world knows what happened to him"
