I love the sincerity of Ren's "You're beautiful"...like he's not even thinking of the words, he barely gets them out...and Ariel isn't quite prepared for such sincerity... she's at a loss for his totally honest compliment...great writing, great acting...

The bored wallflower guy in a black suit and bowtie at 2:04 was an extra from Utah. He was a Mormon missionary and he served his mission in Vancouver Canada. He visited my church (Surry 2 Ward) and told us the story of how he was an extra in Footloose. We didn’t beleive him until we rented the movie, and yup, that’s him. I don’t remember his name, but I think my sister crushed on him.

Has anyone wondered FOR YEARS-as to Where did Sarah Jessica Parker DISAPPEAR in the Last Prom Dance-Especially when the credits went up….????

Did she have a fight with someone, fall…or WHAT????
It annoys me everytime I watch it-how that quiery NEVER has been answered or explained….

I mean-WHY Wasn’t she there to FINALLY SEE HER BOYFRIEND DANCE/with

WASN’T that the whole Point of him ‘Learning’ in the 1st Place.
