In addition to that book written about the Titan similar to the Titanic, several people cancelled their ride on Titanic at the last minute possibly because they feared something bad might happen on the maiden voyage, so a few might have predicted Titanic would sink

There is a difference between prediction and giving inspiration to. Lot of computer people were and are fans of Arthur C. Clarke and may just have been inspired by his genius vision and worked towards it..

The Titanic one on the other hand is freaking creepy.

I’m a Batman fanboy and I sorta made lucky guesses about the character in film. In 2002 while watching Equilibrium in the theater I told my brother that Christian Bale would make a very good Batman. Then in 2012 after watching Christian Bale’s last appearance as Batman in The Dark Knight Rises I posted a wishful thinking on Facebook, hoping that the next Batman solo film would show more detective work, that it could have a crime-noir feel like Se7en, and that the Riddler would be the perfect villain for that film 😀

the Bruce Willis one is spooky. A rapper predicted the 2020 pandemic/COVID in 2013, unironically in a song called Pandemic.

Jenna Ortega predicted her future in the first episode of her Disney show Stuck in the Middle back in 2016. Her character said this:

"This is what happens when there are seven kids and you're stuck in the middle. If my family was a week, I'd be Wednesday."

Six years later, she would start in the Netflix series Wednesday, playing the titular character Wednesday Addams.

I really think that MCU's Thanos the Mad Titan also predicted the COVID-19 pandemic because how much really the film became a reality.

So a couple of other things about Apollo 11 and From the Earth to the Moon. The books spacecrafts dimensions were the same as Apollo 11s, the return and splash down was the same. Finally Apollo 11 was off course when it splashed down, and ended up only 2 miles from where the books heros splashed down.

I'm sure that WatchMojo made a list of the top ten predictions that people got wrong some time in the past, but I think it would be cool if they made another one. Like the guy who said that television would never take off, or Stan Lee's publisher who told Lee that Spider-Man was a terrible idea for a character.
