$2000 RGB Light || Prolycht Orion 300 FS

Some say Aputure has amazing colors, but the Prolycht Orion 300 FS has come along to challenge that! I truly am amazed with this light and wish I could accurately "prove" or show you how rich the colors look and how simple it is to match this up with any light source. My favorite situation by far has been mimicking a street light and also moon light. It looks highly realistic.
The best part of all is that Prolycht LISTENED to feedback I gave them on their first prototype and improved things that are now in this FS model. I'm happy to see that.
I know this might be a big purchase for some folks, but I will say the quality is there for sure.

Great video! Maybe a silly question: if you can't show the difference between the "standard" RGBWW and the "new" RGBACL on video, is there much value in this feature for video creators? Or, maybe phrased differently: who would actually significantly benefit from having RGBACL vs RGBWW? Again, thanks for the great videos!😊

Have you tested the projection unit on other bowens mount fixtures? I'm interested in getting a projection mount for my 300d and other aputure fixtures, and I like the aputure spotlight mount but this is way smaller and might get me a similar result. Do you have thoughts?

I bought the light and love it but it does have a hot spot when using it with a softbox. Do you think it’s still usable if using a softbox?

How does it stack up against the Dedolights. The DLED7.1 power consumption is a third at 90W (4.1 is 45W), and because of the optics, a parallel beam attachment boosts their light output 300-500% when using the Lightstream (or K-Flect as I do). Also they're much lighter to carry around and costs less amazingly. The extensive range of colour options on the Prolycht is really cool.

Another good review. The Orion is a fascinating light, but that price... Just received an Aputure P60C. I'm sure it's no competition for this, but it's full RGB and about 6 times cheaper. Would be interested to know how color accurate the Aputure is, but can't justify $1, 600 for a Sekonic. Where did you get your Sekonic C-700? They are /were much more reasonably priced, but don't seem to be sold any longer.

If you can't show how amazing the light is on camera because cameras are unable to capture it.... That basically makes it's only use to lighting things for a live audience....? Zero added value when filming or taking pictures or am I missing something...?
