New Features Coming to YouTube on TV!

Cinematic channel pages, collaborating on playlists, seamless transitions, and better multi-account support! Here are the updates coming to YouTube on television this year! Please make subscriptions easier to scroll through on the TV. An expanded view where it shows a larger grid would be nice, or allowing us to pin our favorite channels. I love and appreciate the updates though! Please keep them coming!

A feature I would like for tv, is to be able to organise my "play later" vids into folders, e.g. cooking, DIY, cars, etc.

I've noticed huge improvements in the YouTube app on TV, glad to see it's continuing to improve! It wasn't too long ago when you couldn't even interact (or even view iirc?) with comments on TV.

The "switch accounts" has been extremely frustrating for me. My mom uses my account to watch her shows and every time she turns on the TV, said screen pops up and interrupts her entire viewing experience. And because she is not tech savvy, it's a challenge to navigate to the playlists section to resume the show. I am not sure who in your team thought it would be a good idea, but please pass on this feedback to them.

Please make shorts autoscroll. And possibly make the music app more accessible. I pay for music premium but then finding out there's no ps5 app so can't use it for background music playing games. No dedicated app at all on my tv. Sky or ps5 it jst goes to the main app. But the main app won't play in the background even though I'm paying for music premium. A bit of a kick I the teeth

This all seems like useless garbage unfortunately. I don't want to watch shorts on my TV. Preferably hide them.

And I want my subscription under home in the sidebar, not under a bunch of useless pages I never use.

And I hope that I don't have to select my account every time as a single user

Absolutely useless updates.
Here’s the list that you actually must focus on:
1. A feature to separate shorts from videos on both main and sub feed pages
2. a button to hide shorts completely (we all hate like HATE when they are the first thing we see)
3. Better keyboard for search. Have you tried using a remote yourself???
4. Better channel screen (nobody cares about channel background, and the new video BG will only make it worse because it will distract from video search)
5. The lists in the channels must start with “uploaded” and show videos in chronological order. Then it must be playlists created by the author. And only then you can try to put your useless recommended algorithm
6. Add button “refresh feed” on home page at the top of the page. Why do you force us to scroll all the way down with the tv remote
