Greetings! The Quick Pen tool looked great in your vids and it's on the web version of Illustrator. Any idea why it didn't make it to the desktop version. Thx.

It's good that Adobe finally got that feature to put objects on a path, but it still needs work. The first time I tried to use it, I couldn't do what I needed to do. I wanted to move or rotate just one of the objects I placed on the path and I couldn't do it. I added some stars to a path so I wanted to top point of each star to turn with the path but I couldn't do it. That was the first time I tried to use it. I also couldn't move 1 object closer to another object. Also, I think it should be as simple as selecting all the objects then dragging and dropping them on the path. It shouldn't require a special tool. So I think this feature still needs work.

It seems it's fashionable to bash AI tools these days, but to be fair, if we're gonna press buttons and heat the planet it could do a bit better on that front. The trace too looked nice though and that circle one could be useful - I remember copy pasting objects onto a circle in InDesign.
