It's too late for that. They already killed him off and decided to cast his actor as a totally different character, instead of the character he SHOULD be playing. If we still end up getting a variant of tony from another universe in secret wars, it would just be weird seeing both him and doctor doom being played by the same actor. Unless the tony stark variant is played by a new actor.

It's as easy as a Tony Stark variant. Could you imagine if he was just like the 616 Stark and in his timeline Peter snapped and passed away. His relationship with Peter was the same as 616. So im hoping for RDJ to have a dual role. Absolutely be Victor Von Doom and a Stark variant. That would be mind blowing to see Doom Tony variant and Peter fighting each other at the end of Spiderman 4. After Pete ends the original threat BOOM first Doom comes through his time travel tech without his mask Peter is dumfounded and DOUBLE BOOM Tony comes through same tech as Doom. This Tony is Ironman in Dooms timeline. Let me write the script. Well me and McFelly. Everyone is crying for a street level SM4, there's plenty of time for that after the Multiverse Saga is over.

Marvel studios should do Iron Man Demon in Armor....which is a story on how it was Tony Stari that was Victor Von Doom's college roommate not Reed Richards. Doom makes a device in the abandoned basement of the college and tricks Tony into being Patient Zero that causes their consciousness swap bodies....effectively making it so Doom is in Stark's body and vice versa
