You should read Tiger's Curse by Colleen Houck, its one of those books that gets addictive and plot twists. It had a lot of old Indian mythology and things related to that, and also romance and action and sass. Its an amazing book and easily my favorite book of a time :)

The Ghost Bride is actually set in Malaya which is presently known as Malaysia. I'm so happy this book is receiving much attention because it's such a unique book. Plus, being a Malaysian Chinese myself, I can kinda relate to the book more which is something unusual because most of the books are set in western countries.

The Undertaking of Lily Chen is a graphic novel that is very similar to that Ghost Bride book. The pictures are really pretty since they are in watercolor.

I've read "The Ghost Bride" by Yangsze Choo and it was set during pre-war of Malaysia (then Malaya). Brilliant writing on Chinese folklore and myths.

"All that is solid melts into Air" Sounds SO interesting, I need it now since I love (well not love more like I'm super interested) anything that had to do with the Chernobyl meltdown and the fall of the USSR, I don't know it is all so interesting to me. Also, I have had my sight on "The Ghost Bride" for a while now, but haven't bought it. This was such a great haul!

Haha, I've already bought all my books for the month as well...just waiting for the last 2 to come! I'm most excited for The Acts of King Arthur by John Steinbeck. I had no idea he wrote a retelling of Arthurian legend (and the only fantasy he wrote apparently) ! I love Arthurian Legends and I love Steinbeck, so perfect combo! But of course it's the last book to come, haha. 

That Deadly Class graphic Novel looks amazing! Can't wait to hear what you think of it!
