Artist here. Seems to a good setup would be an actual strong but light ipad pro standable that would also allow for attachement on the side or top for an iphone. I would display on the iphone screen a photo from which I am working and then draw/paint on my ipad. Drawing programs have the ability to use on-screen reference photos but that takes up a lot of real estate on an already very small screen.

I saw this and thought it was one of those screen extenders, but this is way better! It is simple, and the magnetic feature makes this fun and functional. Because where you have the magnets, would this work with the iPad mini in your current configuration? Great video, as always. I love when you show off new gadgets to add to a desk setup, and the price is something that I thought would be a little higher than what it is. 😂🐬

I recently used these. Two of them. Within a few days, using two magnets with an iPad Mini 6 and they fell off… removing the remaining attachments from the lid proved hard work and had to be cleaned due to residue 😞

How do you use your iPhone with your MacBook cursor? Don't you need it jailbroken? Your phone must also be jailbroken. I see like 20 camera apps on it. Is the magnet strong enough to work through a thick plastic case? Still watching. Can you drag a Photoshop app, or vs code a local browser onto it?

Interested in this, but it seems like charging the iPad while it is attached would be a problem. Maybe an angled USB-C cable might work? Or if you close it in at an angle the charging port would be accessible ? How do you go about charging your iPad while it's attached?

I use Satechi's case for the MacBook, do you think the case would interfere with the adhesive? I like using my iPhone as a webcam but most (if not all) of the stands that attach to the top of the MacBook are too thin due to the case adding a tiny bit of thickness.
