Maybe they don’t implement the full screen mode otherwise many people would go without the more expensive MacBook airs!

You can tell with this setup that the iPad is near perfect all in one pc, for those that don’t need too much.

Recently, I've tried being more creative with the iPad as well, and I think ever since I switched to the M1 MBP, the 13" screen has made me feel more grateful to be able to use my iPad Pro simultaneously with SideCar feature. I love your setup, and that adapter looks awesome.

I actually have the same display, and I do not know why I never thought of the idea of plugging in a USB type c to the side of the display. Awesome suggestion. I actually do not have an iPad anymore, I primarily use my MBA M1 for everything but I use my laptop in the same manner, meaning I keep it open and use the included keyboard and my mouse of choice is the Mx anywhere 3 mouse. Again great video! I also bought the same game controller based on your suggestion and use it primarily with my Nintendo switch.

Why I gave up the iPad was because of the whole external display compatibility or support issue. Since the MBA M1 is obviously fully compatible with external displays, I just use my MBA Air and I carry it no matter where I go as an iPad since it weighs about the same, but just offers more functionality for me since I work in field sales.

Love the idea of putting the Hub on the monitor instead of the iPad. I’ve never thought of that as an option but it’s a great idea.

That's really nice. Only thing I'd probably add, would be an external webcam, then you can keep the iPad flat to take notes while on calls.

I wish iPad would use the full screen size, I've a 38 inch display and looks odd with all the black-bars, otherwise totally possible to make it a "desktop".

Great video. I was worried I would need to upgrade to an iPad Pro To have this kind of a set up. I like my iPad Air, as I don’t need much computing power. Now I’m glad I don’t need to upgrade and can keep what I have.

Always love the vibe of your videos, I love the 8bit pro controller its the best for CODM & since I'm broke to get an Xbox or tv. This is the best option. IPad Pro+ controller= gaming experience for now fulfilled.

mirror the screen, I prefer samsung dex mode, you can use the tablet and it doesn't interfere with the use of dex mode

I own the iPad Pro 2020 and like this kind of videos. They are beneficial specially for a students. Let me explain they can get a cheap monitor and peripherals for school not break the bank. And it is portable that is the main thing. If is applicable to your studies. Plus can't wait for your updated feedback on using for awhile.
