Here's a simple review on dyslexia and what role OTs can play. It's a group effort between the family, school, and other therapies on how to tailor strategies to an individual with a learning disability. We are all different and learn differently! Also, there are a lot of different types of dyslexia but I wanted to focus more on the signs and accommodations this video. Just note that there is trauma based dyslexia from brain injury or secondary dyslexia that is due to fetal brain development that can go away over time!
